Hydrant Networks

Hydrant systems: the best-known and often most widely used fixed fire protection systems.

The primary objective of this type of system is to control or even extinguish a fire using UNI 70 external hydrants, UNI 45 internal or external hydrants, and hose reel units.

Hydrant systems are divided into two main categories:

1. Standard systems, where fire protection is provided within buildings, featuring devices for internal and/or external protection, and the piping is kept filled with water to ensure the system operates promptly.
2. Outdoor systems, where the primary protection covers outdoor areas. Like sprinkler systems, these can be further classified as dry or wet systems, depending on the specific application.
